Colibra Island ( Also Known as Snake Island) Side Trip

The first activity Lakwatsera and I did, after arriving at Tambobong beach in Dasol, Pangasinan was make a side trip to Colibra Island ( also known as Snake Island).Unfortunately (or fortunately), its alias, didn't live up to its name. Although, some people claim that the island got its nickname  because of  the sizeable slithering sea snakes that inhabit the island's surrounding water, we never spotted one the whole time we were there.

Nanay Benilda, person in charge of Tambobong White Beach (see related post), facilitated for us on our trip to Colibra Island. She got us a boat and a boatman for 700.00 pesos.

Tambobong White beach in Dasol Pangasinan

Tambobong White Beach is located in a remote, secluded fishing village in Dasol, Pangsinan, here in the Philippines. It is a quaint, small,  family-run resort right at the heart of Tambabong Beach (white beach, clear waters, ideal for sailing ).

I had the chance to visit this place a couple of months right after summer this year.

La Mesa Ecopark Quezon City

La Mesa Eco Park is an ecological reservation site in Quezon City here in the Philippines. It is a public park built  within the surrounding forest  of the La Mesa Watershed, a dam which provides most of the water supply of Metro Manila.
The La Mesa Dam is an earth dam that can hold up to 50.5 million cubic meters in its reservoir.  The Watershed is owned by the Philippine government, under the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS) agency. It occupies a total area of  27 sq km, around 26 percent of which is the reservoir while the remaining 74 percent  is the surrounding natural forest.

The La Mesa Watershed and its surrounding natural boundaries appear to be well preserved when Lakwatsera and I visited it for the first time, recently.

Cebu Pacific Dancing FAs

I don't really have a preferred airline every time I travel. I've experienced using Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines as flight carriers on several occasions and never really had any major problems with both.
Like most budget travelers, I usually book flights from airlines that offer the cheapest fares and never been influenced by airline ads or promotional gimmicks.
But, about a week ago, someone uploaded online a video of dancing flight attendants on a Cebu Pacific flight bound for Butuan on September 30.

The "not-so accidental" video had 2 million views in YOUTUBE in just two days, and, as of today, already has more than 7 million views.

Cagayan De Oro White Water Rafting Adventure

Cagayan De Oro White Water Rafting was immediately offerred and introduced to us, the first time we arrived in Cagayan De Oro.
